Annual Meeting and New Board Members
Posted on Jan 20th, 2026

Dear Neighbors,

Thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Meeting on January 17, 2026 and to all our dues paying members so far. Minutes from the meeting, though they won't be officially approved until next year, will be available on the website sometime in the next few weeks under the tab labeled Association/Annual Member Meeting.

Your 2026 Board Members are:
  • President Dwight Roche
  • Vice President Don Rose
  • Treasurer Edgar Narutsch
  • Secretary Joe Becovitz
  • At Large Member Stephanie Narutsch
  • At Large Member Joyce Roche
  • At Large Member Julie LePera
  • At Large Member and Webmaster Deb Anderson Faulkner
  • At Large Member position is OPEN to any dues-paying member who would like to devote their time and talents to the community.
We are so grateful to our board members for volunteering their time to care for and facilitate the running of our voluntary association. This is a working board meaning that serving is more than just having an opinion or a suggestion, it means rolling up your sleeves to advance any cause that would benefit the entire community.

Becoming a dues paying member of VGHA (special shout out to Sections 1 and 6 who are at 100% membership for the year) means you care about your Village Green community and its common spaces. We depend entirely on the good graces of residents like you to help us keep Village Green, and the access points to Village Green Estates and Mirabella, a Beautiful Place to Live.

Did you know that we, the residents of Village Green, are responsible for the upkeep of 7.3 acres of property? That’s right! All along Village Green Parkway, both 18th and 20th Avenues, and the several berms and culverts that traverse our area, as well as the monuments that announce entrance to our neighborhood are our responsibility to maintain. And we can’t meet the demand of those expenses without your voluntary participation each and every year.

Dues are just $100 and are used to meet the following expenses:

It is all on us to keep our beautiful green common spaces in pristine condition, which is why you bought in the greater Village Green area in the first place! Without our dues paying members, cutbacks to irrigation and landscaping would have a devastating effect, especially over the summer months. And we are currently in grave danger of having to do exactly that.

You don’t have to search very hard to find examples of other neighborhoods where they have had to let things go. And things get pretty bad here in Florida in a very short period of time. Think about what would happen if you didn’t water your lawn, or your landscaping, or if you didn’t mow your grass, trim your trees, or clean out debris.

If you have not become a 2026 dues paying member yet, please DO IT NOW. It’s so easy. Visit the website at vgha.org where you can find all the directions you need by scrolling down to the box labeled Membership Summary. If you need help logging in, you’ll find instructions on how to do that, too.

If you are new to Village Green, or have never logged in before, contact the webmaster@vgha.org to learn how to access the account that was set up for you as soon as you closed on your property.

If you're on Facebook, please join our page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/383162550691238 where you'll be able to keep up with our events like the Happy Hour at RJ Gator's on February 2, the Community Yard Sale on February 7, and our next board meeting on February 10.

Your payment will aid in covering the above common area expenses and will make you eligible for some of our member-only activities like the recent Holiday Lights Contest.

Please join today! and thank you, again, to all of you who have already made a difference! You are awesome. And help us spread the word, especially among our single family homeowners.
