The Village Green Homeowners' Association (VGHA) is a non-profit corporation organized in 1973 under Florida’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Statutes. VGHA is not governed by Florida’s Chapter 720 for Mandatory Homeowners’ Associations.

Recent Bylaws Changes
Passed Oct. 11, 2016, and effective for 2017:
Article II #1: The business and property of the corporation shall be managed by a board of nine directors, all of whom shall be of full age and at least one of whom shall be a citizen of the United States, and such Board of Directors shall be authorized to exercise all of its corporate powers unless otherwise provided in these Bylaws. [Changed to nine from 12 directors to agree with Articles of Incorporation.]
Article VI #2: Dues are payable on January 1st of each year and are past due after 30 days. [Past due changed from March 15.]
Passed by email vote to be confirmed at December 13, 2016, Board Meeting:
Article I #3: Notice and Waiver. Notice of general membership meetings shall be posted on the website, emailed, mailed or delivered to each member having a right to vote at such meeting at the email address provided by the member or address as it appears on the records of the corporation beginning on December 1st and not less than seven before the date set for the meeting. The notice shall state the purpose for the meeting and the time and place it is to be held. Such a notice shall be sufficient for that meeting and any adjournment thereof. Any member may waive formal notice of the meeting either before or at the meeting, or by attendance thereof. [Changes include notice by posting on the website, adding the email address provided by the member, adding beginning on December 1st, deleting no more than thirty, and deleting special.]
